Xero’s products are (SaaS) based models and sold by subscription based on the type and number of company entities managed by the subscriber. Its products are used in over 180 different countries.
Xero wanted to increase their conversion levels of their online marketing activities across the UK, and they were looking for a sales outsourcing partner who could make follow up sales calls and conversions. Xero had tried different outsourcing sales companies but felt they were not getting the levels of business conversions that they expected nor value for money.

The Challenge
With a large portfolio of payment solutions available ACI needed support selling their RED Shield product. RED Shield is a robust, multi-dimensional fraud prevention solution.
They appointed us to deliver this project on the strength of our multilingual team, our experience in the software, payments and financial services sectors and our commitment to recruiting, training, coaching and developing our salespeople.
Our Solution
We designed and delivered this project in two parts.
The first part of the project involved working closely with the ACI team, using the ACI CRM system to contact existing clients with a focus on upselling the RED Shield solution. The second stage of our work was then focussed on cold calling potential new customers using a database supplied by ACI which covered firms in the telecoms, gambling and travel sectors.
Our targets for this project were based on a combined focus on wining new business and delivering an agreed revenue.
The Results
We achieved some amazing results for ACI which far exceeded their expectations. With four appointments secured each day we were able to convert 89% of these into new customers, generating, so far, an additional £850k of new business!
